The September edition of League Lines has recaps from the July 2011 program in Montpelier; greetings from our president, Deb Fennell; and complete info about this month's extended-day program Publishing A-Z: What Fiction and Non-fiction Writers Need to Know, with Literary Agents Katharine Sands (NYC) and Paul S. Levine (LA).

The program is at the Town & Country Resort Inn in Stow, Saturday, September 17, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Katharine and Paul will talk about everything from how to approach an agents or editor with a book project to understanding contracts, negotiating advances and royalties, protecting rights and intellectual property, what to expect from a publisher AFTER you place a book, and so much more.

[Added on Sept 25] -- Thanks to all who participated in our September Program, and to our two presenters, Katharine Sands and Paul S. Levine.
